Monochrome 1 derives from overlays of semi-transparent shapes, interpreted with shades of violet. The idea of this series is the shift of forms to share the role of the main figure. The underlying concept is the figure/ground shift: the oscillation of the sharing of these roles in the visual field between adjacent perceived pairings of elements.
A statement in any room, each museum-quality poster is printed with multicolor, water-based inkjet printing technique that yields brilliant colour.
