Monochrome 9 derives from overlays of semi-transparent shapes, interpreted with saturates blues and studies of surface and place. The idea of this series is the shift of forms to share the role of the main figure. This shift not only shows relationships among the various shapes, but also allows each color to speak for itself, a dialogue within the composition. Select imagery documents a geographical place and time of the artist.
