Tēgula 1
NZ$139.00
Tēgula is Latin for ‘tile’. Through tiling elements as my process I discovered new forms, which were treated digitally and layered with time and space - my existence in Wellington documented. The tiling process comes from the work that I did for ‘Codamorphology’ a show at Thistle hall, Wellington, a few years back. Woodcuts using tiles of different designs were placed according to the rules of Latin Squares, a mathematical visual arrangement of forms.
